The windmill at Windmill Hill is open to visitors every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 20 April to the end of September 2025. Mills Day is on Sunday 11 May.

We rely entirely on your support to maintain and run the windmill. Find out more in our Support page.

The windmill at Windmill Hill is the tallest post mill in Sussex and is a Grade II* listed building. Find out more about its history and restoration on the History page.

Groups, including cycling and walking groups are welcome to visit by prior arrangement. School groups are very welcome and we have a range of educational workshops. Find out more about visiting the windmill.
